Our Training Program

At MSRCC we are so passionate and committed about ensuring couples are able to obtain specialist and expertly trained therapists, we have partnered with Swinburne University and Relationships Australia to provide internships to third and final year students who are completing their Masters of Couple Counselling degree.

About Our Internship program

Any clients seeking our service, may be offered the opportunity to see an intern, dependant on availability. All our interns have counselling experience and have specifically studied couples therapy for at least 2 years. Many of our interns have already completed a substantial amount of clinically supervised couple therapy hours, so they are quite experienced.

MSRCC interns are personally supervised by Susan Lackner and are required to discuss their client cases with Susan to ensure quality of care, on a weekly basis. If you think this could be an option for you, you will receive a reduction in your service fee. If you are interested, please email admin@msrcc.com.au to enquire about our program.
