Rach (they/them) believes that our most important relationships hold us through life, and that counselling can help people to understand, heal and deepen their relationships.
Rach is warm and non-judgemental and welcomes people across diverse relationships and family structures. Rach completed specialist studies in couples counselling and uses integrative, systemic and emotion-focused techniques. Through study, work and life experience, Rach understands the importance of safety, openness and confidentiality in the counselling space. They will engage collaboratively with clients to address goals such as improving communication, and managing stress, struggles and conflict. They will also work with people negotiating differences and navigating life transitions including parenting, separation and grief.
Prior to working at MSRCC, Rach held senior roles in public, private and not-for-profit organisations and has extensive volunteering experience across the community sector. Rach is experienced at working cross-culturally, with a particular interest in LGBTIQA+ communities and issues.
